Peter entered commercial business with British Aerospace, where he spent six years gaining experience in international sales and marketing, obtaining a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
In 1976 Peter entered the recruitment industry, joining in 1978 Grove Personnel, an International firm of Recruitment Consultants, handling both UK and overseas appointments. He transferred in 1980 to Kuwait as Resident Manager of their first overseas representative office. Peter was returned to the UK Head Office one year later to be appointed Project Manager of a major staffing secondment and administration contract for a German Engineering Consultancy, supervising an electrification project in the northern region of Saudia Arabia. This developed into responsibility for all contract-hire staff seconded to projects worldwide, including the Middle East, Africa, South America and the Far East.
As a co-founder of Anders Glaser Wills, a recruitment consultancy established in 1983 and specializing in the recruitment of construction and engineering staff worldwide, Peter helped develop one of the most successful specialist consultancies of the 1980's, achieving a rapid yet strong growth in the UK, whilst maintaining a strong international recruitment presence in both the Middle East, Europe and the USA.
With the changing of the human resourcing needs of the UK and worldwide markets in the construction and engineering sectors, Peter formed in 1991 an independent specialist HR consultancy, pga, a specialist operation offering a comprehensive, yet flexible, service. Peter is able to personally advise on human resourcing for a wide variety of recruitment needs, utilising a wealth of experience gained in this specialist sector.
